Real Estate Strategies, Inc. was founded in 1998 and is based in Winter Park, Florida. The company’s mission is to provide unique, high quality real estate services to family trusts, private real estate funds, foundations, lenders and corporate owners.

Susan Lawrence, President

Susan has thirty years of broad experience in commercial real estate, including development, acquisitions, dispositions, and management.  She advises foundations, public school systems and municipalities on real estate-related matters, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars. Her career credentials include an MBA from Crummer School of Business at Rollins College, the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, and national executive level roles with Merrill Lynch and Prudential Real Estate, as well as with regional real estate companies.

Greg Duggan

Greg is a licensed civil engineer and commercial contractor with over 11 years of experience in land acquisition, entitlement, and development and construction. He graduated with an M.S. of Construction Management from the University of Washington. Greg served in executive roles with Greater Homes, a large regional homebuilder, and with Jordon Development Group, specializing in mixed use and hospitality properties. His experience has included retail, office, hospitality, residential and industrial properties. 

Diane Boswell

Diane is a specialist in project management, concept development and design coordination.  She has a degree in architecture from the University of Florida and has completed master studies in urban planning and architecture from the Royal Academy of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Diane’s projects have included everything from historical rehabilitations to high-rise Class A office.  She has worked with architectural firms and real estate development companies.

Garritt Toohey

Garritt Toohey has over 30 years of experience in every aspect of hotel management, sales, development and operations.  After obtaining an undergraduate B.A. from Ithaca College and a master’s degree from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, he went to work for Rosen Hotels, a large owner and operator of meeting, convention and vacation hotels.  Garritt recently retired from Rosen Hotels and is now consulting in his area of expertise.  Garrett is involved in numerous community activities including serving as an advisor to the University of Central Florida Hospitality School.
